The opportunity

Dentons Australia is on the search for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. You will be involved in all aspects of the support function, assisting the team across banking law and corporate finance.  Some of your duties will include:

  • Matter management including opening, closing and archiving,
  • Email, diary management and travel bookings,
  • Drafting correspondence and court documents,
  • Liaising with clients via email and phone,
  • Month end Billings, and
  • General administration tasks as required.

The successful candidate will draw on their background in legal support to deliver outstanding administrative assistance across the team.  This role is available immediately and we invite applications from candidates who have worked in similar roles within the professional or legal services industry.

About you

We are looking for candidates with excellent organisational skills and experience supporting a range of fee-earners.  Also essential to this role are strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.  As a valued member of the team you will demonstrate drive and enthusiasm across all aspects of the support function.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • A proven positive attitude to work, with a pro-active but flexible approach; and
