As a result of growth in the team, an exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate (or equivalent) level construction lawyer with first class experience in front end and back end construction and major infrastructure projects to join our team.
You will advise a range of blue chip contractor clients on all forms of construction contracts, negotiations on developments, as well as claims, construction litigation and alternative dispute resolution including mediation, expert determination and arbitration. You will work with all four of our partners, who have been recognised by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Chambers Asia Pacific as some of Australia's leading construction lawyers.
To be considered for this role, you will be a Senior Associate level lawyer (or a senior lawyer with at least six years PQE) with a focus on front end and back end matters. Excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a strong client service ethic are essential.
We are looking for construction lawyers with demonstrated experience managing construction matters, the ability to provide technically strong advice with minimal partner supervision, the ability to manage and build upon client relationships as well as supervise and mentor junior lawyers in the team.
