As a result of parental leave cover, an exciting 12 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate (or equivalent) level construction lawyer to join our team.
You will advise on front end contractual issues and work with a range of blue chip contractor clients on all forms of construction contracts, tender negotiations and dispute avoidance. High profile developments will include the construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors relating to commercial and residential projects.
You will be a key member of an experienced Construction legal team and work closely with all four of our partners, who have been recognised by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Chambers Asia Pacific as some of Australia's leading construction lawyers.
To be considered for this role, you will be a Senior Associate level lawyer (or a senior lawyer with at least six years PQE) with a focus on front end matters. Excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a strong client service ethic are essential.
We are looking for construction lawyers with demonstrated experience in managing construction matters, the ability to provide technically strong advice with minimal partner supervision, the ability to manage and build upon client relationships as well as supervise and mentor junior lawyers in the team.
