Dentons Australia has a new role in our Sydney office for someone looking to build upon their paralegal career in our busy Banking & Finance team. In this rewarding role, you will be acting on behalf of a number of banks and lending institutions and managing the settlement process for the banks customers.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Acting as a point of contact for our clients;
- Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email;
- Drafting correspondence and verifying conditions of loans;
- Arranging and attending settlements;
- Filing/opening and closing files; and
- General administration tasks as required.
Prior law firm or settlements experience, and a determination to excel in your paralegal career are pre-requisite to your application being considered.
To be successful in this busy role, strong organisational skills are essential and you must be a team player. In addition, a high level of enthusiasm and energy is a must. Ideally you will have 1-2 years experience in similar roles.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Proven attention to detail
- Prior experience using PEXA
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- A pro-active and flexible attitude
- Self-motivation with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving and negotiating skills.
