About the opportunity:
This is an excellent role for a lawyer looking to be an active participant in all areas of developing a practice in employment law. You will be excited by the challenge to develop your business skills early in your career.
As a 4 – 6 year PQE Lawyer, this role will combine a mixture of workplace relations, industrial relations, employment and safety work. You will work closely with a leading and supportive Partner, and act for a diverse client base of global and local clients on a range of matters. The team is small with tremendous opportunities for career growth.
You will have:
- Strong prior employment law practice experience
- Be proficient in technical and drafting skills
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
- Superior time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Demonstrated commercial sense
- Ability to develop and grow a practice area
Ideal background and experience:
To be considered for this role, your combined academic background together with approximately 4-6 years' post-qualification experience in employment law acquired in a leading law firm will be well regarded. We are interested in hearing from lawyers with experience gained from a well-respected employment practice or a specialist employment law firm. You will be passionate about what you do, keen to progress in your career and embrace the opportunities that we will provide to you.
