About the role:

As an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant you will be supporting one our Insolvency and Litigation Partners and his team. The role is available immediately and we are interested in talking to candidates who have worked in similar roles within the professional or legal services industry. The successful candidate will draw on their background in legal support to deliver outstanding administrative assistance.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Matter management including opening, closing and archiving
  • Email, diary management and travel bookings
  • Drafting correspondence and court documents
  • Court filing including electronic filing
  • Liaising with clients via email and phone
  • Month end Billings

 

You will have:

 

  • Prior law firm experience and a determination to excel in your legal support career
  • A preparedness to help build the new and growing Melbourne office of Dentons
  • Strong organisational skills - ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Commitment to professionalism
