About the role:
Dentons Australia is on the search for a Legal Support officer for our Brisbane office. You will be involved in all aspects of the mortgage document preparation function, assisting our Banking and Finance team.
Some of your duties will include:
- Managing a pipeline of mortgage files,
- Preparing all required loan documentation within agreed service levels
- Settlement Coordination with Clients, Brokers and Lenders to ensure deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients, banks and brokers via email and phone
- Managing and attending settlements
The successful candidate will be looking to build on their administration background to deliver outstanding legal support. Experience in a settlements related role will be highly advantageous.
What you'll need to succeed:
- A strong understanding of the mortgage process - post credit and pre-settlements
- Previous experience with mortgage documentation or as a Settlements officer
- You must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Meticulous attention to detail with proficiency in MS Outlook
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Commitment to professionalism
- Strong stakeholder management
