We are looking for an experienced Construction and Property Litigation lawyer to join our team for a 12 month contract.
You will focus on back end work and act for high profile clients in the commercial and residential sectors, including owners, principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
The team works on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to commercial and residential building, development and infrastructure projects.
You will be a key member of an experienced Construction legal team and work closely with our partners, who have been recognised by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Chambers Asia Pacific as some of Australia's leading construction lawyers.
To be considered for this role, you will be a Senior Associate level lawyer (or a senior lawyer with at least six years PQE) with a focus on back end matters. Previous experience in construction and real estate disputes, intellectual property disputes, trade practices disputes, administrative law, retail and commercial leasing disputes and general commercial litigation is a must. Excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a strong client service ethic are essential.
You will be a construction lawyer with demonstrated experience in managing construction matters, the ability to provide technically strong advice with minimal partner supervision, the ability to manage and build upon client relationships as well as supervise and mentor junior lawyers in the team.
